Valentine's Day Gift Ideas for Kids!

Valentine's Day Gift Ideas for Kids!

Since the passing of time is really only marked by holidays now, let’s move on to Valentine’s Day. I love grabbing a few little goodies for my daughter to make the day festive but definitely don’t feel like very much money needs to be spent. I like to hit up the dollar aisle at target and then add a new book or a toy that can be reused to her collection. Here are a few ideas for you as you plan your festivities!

Valentine’s Putty - The Target Spritz line has the perfect inexpensive gifts for Valentine’s Day.

XOXO Washi Tape - Kids can find endless uses for washi tape!

Heart Sticker Book - $3 festive stickers are sure to be a hit.

Valentine’s Stamps - Another $3 find that can be used long after the holiday is gone.

Lego Dots Cupcake Kit - We just played with our first Lego Dot kit (the bracelet version) it was SUCH A HIT!! My daughter played with it for hours and hours. The kit we have says ages 6+ but our 3 year old was able to easily use.

I’ll Love You Till The Cows Come Home - A super cute book that can be read throughout the year.

Kid Made Modern Watercolors - Normal watercolors, but make them festive!

Bugs Magic Painting Book - We are such huge fans of these magic painting books! All you need is a little water and voila, your kid is painting mess-free! I love giving these to my daughter to work on at the table while I clean up/make dinner/hide for a few minutes.

Candylab Food Trucks - These little wooden trucks are a fun addition to any car-loving kids collection.

Kinetic Sand Bake Shoppe - We have this and still love it almost a year after purchasing.

Ooly Smooth Stix Watercolor Gel Crayons - Ooly art supplies are high quality, vibrant and guaranteed to be a hit!

The Wrong Fairy Tale Goldilocks and The Three Little Pigs - This fun series tells silly versions of classic fairy tales which is fun for kids and adults alike.

Little Dolly Sticker Books - My love for these sticker books will never die! I’ve talked about them time and time again because they really are the best sticker books for kids. The stickers are easy for little hands and they have dozens of different themes.

Bath Bombs With Surprised Inside - Bath bombs are the secret to successfully getting my bath-hating daughter into the tub. Throw in some hidden figures and we have a serious party!

Peek Inside a Fairy Tale - The Princess and the Pea - Another twist on classic fairy tale stories with laser-cut holes and cutaways.

Love Monster Socks - Since kids lose socks every other second these will be both useful and fun.

Popsicle Mold - What better way to spend the holiday (or any day really) making popsicles?!

Rubber Band Paddle Boat - This classic little toy from local shop Merci Milo is definitely going in my little ones Valentine’s basket.

Kid Made Modern Valentine’s Craft Kit - Save yourself some hassle and buy an entire kit of prepackaged supplies.

Happy shopping!
