We’re Callie and Christianne, the co-founders of MiLOWE, a digital village for modern parents, and The Mag.
Christianne is originally from Toronto and worked in publishing, advertising and sales. In LA, she and her husband are film producers. Her driving force is making her daughter (little as she is!) proud of the work that she does as a mother and a creator. Callie worked in healthcare tech prior to founding a boutique production company with her husband. After having her daughter she decided it was time to take the plunge into entrepreneurship. Her idea of success has always been working with cool people that I liked being around and taking on exciting professional adventures with them.

Pallavi is an mom/wife/actor/producer and CEO of Team Access Productions, Inc which specializes in stories that give voice to underrepresented communities and challenge traditional archetypes of a woman on screen. After the initial "what have I done" feeling of the 4th trimester, Pallavi is absolutely in love with her infant daughter, Meenakshi, aka ShiShi. Her goals are to go after her dreams, stay healthy, and be an attentive parent without the added pressure of trying to "have it all." Parenthood has been and will continue to be a delicate balance between feeding her creative soul and happily surrendering to the needs of her family.

Back in 2012, I founded Girls on Food, a community blog of women all over North America who shared one thing in common: our love for all things food and beverage. Since the GOF days, I got married and gave birth to a bouncing baby girl, who I’ll refer to as “M". I also created a new Insta-Column called HighchairLA and I’m so excited to contribute to MiLOWE site as well!
I believe kids are bigger epicureans than we give them credit for and I want to show you that dining out with them doesn’t have to be as stressful as you think.

I have been married for 9 years and I am a mom to a 3 year-old boy, Noah. Toronto Beach native who recently moved back from the West Coast of Canada to have her second baby. Her parenting style includes lots of dirt in fingernails, sand in between toes and screen time. She can usually be found with a good book and a nice glass of (boxed) wine. You’ll find her writing about cool stuff for modern moms, going from one to two kids, baby & toddler product reviews, family dynamics and more.
I’m Sarah, originally from Ireland and now living in LA with my husband and little girl Elliott. I’m a Lifestyle & Interior Stylist, lover of minimalism and artisan design, and curious about everything from culture to current affairs, and business to psychology. My time spent listening to podcasts on these subjects increased significantly since I had Elliott, as it became the easiest way for me to consume media while looking after a baby. Each month I’ll be sharing my top podcast picks that give me pause for thought, and spark new ideas. They might do the same for you.

I’m Michelle Kelman, a mommy of two little characters with super shiny teeth (that sometimes need sea weed and dye free sprinkles flossed from in between them), and also a pediatric dentist, who for over fifteen years has specialized in infant, pediatric, teen, and special needs dentistry. I started my practice in the Cedars Sinai Medical Towers twelve years ago. I have been a member of the Cedars Sinai Medical Center Pediatric Surgical Team and am a clinical lecturer at the UCLA School School of Dentistry. Let me tell you, juggling my mommy, doctor, and practice owner and director hat has it’s challenges, but seeing my children grow has truly led me to evolve as a not only a parent but as a pediatric health care provider. I’m so happy to share any insight I have with all parents. It truly takes a team!

RJ is Creative Director for Type In Type Out (TITO), a graphics and brand strategy firm based in Los Angeles. A champion for the City, he was lucky to be raised in the thick of a heavy art, design, museum and architecture scene in LA with a knack for the southern California vernacular. As a foster/adopt parent, he hopes to show that appreciation for art & design to his 3-year-old every single day. "There's something about southern California that makes it such a special place, like no other place in the world. It's the best physical and mental playground to raise a child."

Hi, I’m Jessica! I’m a mother who can't sit still, a producer of awesome crafts, and a pretty clever kitchen improviser. I’ve always been a creative person, always drawn to the next project almost immediately after finishing the last one. A couple of years ago, after giving birth to my daughter, that stopped. I felt creatively lost. Rediscovering my love of crafting and baking helped lift the fog of being a new mother, and allowed me to be creatively fulfilled in ways that could benefit my family! I started my website, MAMA LOVES TO, as a way to showcase successful projects and recipes and share them with anyone who wants to play along!

Chris is a writer, director and editor for film, television and advertisments. He's won some awards for his marketing work and shot off Josh Hutcherson's arm with a laser gun but he's most excited that his almost three-year old daughter, Marlowe is straight up addicted to reading books, eating as much smoked salmon as is socially acceptable and going on spinny carnival rides at every opportunity.

I am the founder of Mitchell Newborn Care. I work with families overnight for the first three to six months of their babies life teaching them healthy and safe sleep habits, creating day and night time schedules as well as educating parents. I support families in other ways as well, such as newborn classes, nanny matchmaking and travel care. Although I have no kids of my own, I am a proud auntie and I adore my nieces and nephew-son (haha, he’s the only boy so I claim him as my first child).

Megan is a portrait and lifestyle photographer for families, children, brands and occasions. She loves capturing the beauty and chaos of motherhood, has a heart for women and female entrepreneurs, and has never met a face she didn’t love. Outside of her client work, you’ll probably find her working on personal photography projects, writing poetry, and claiming coffee as an official food group. Most importantly, she is a mom of three lovely kiddos, spanning the very different child, tween, and teen developmental stages, which means she spends a lot of time discussing heavy-hitting political issues like whose turn it is for the Legos. Photography has helped Megan slow down and see life more deeply and more beautifully, and she loves sharing that with others, too.

Hi, I’m Hayley. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, mother to three fabulous college age kids, and a parenting coach. I created Heart of Connecting to support parents of toddlers and preschoolers who feel they are at the end of their rope with their little ones because I remember those days so clearly. I’m here to support you and hold your hand as I help you get clear about your parenting. I will help you understand why you feel you have tried everything and nothing is working. I will educate you about your child’s temperament and behavior, teach you about your triggers, and give you practical, applicable parenting tools to help you get more pleasure out of parenting so you can have more fun with your kids.

Dara became a mom for the first time in May of 2019. Even though she took the birth & breastfeeding classes and read all of the baby books, she still found herself completely lost and unprepared in her new role. After a series of feeding issues and sleep challenges, Dara began to feel more isolated and alone than ever. Through conversations, she learned that we were all going through similar experiences but all thought we were the only ones. Dara started The Sleep Sessions to give new moms a wider platform to share their experiences and support each other through all of the changes and decisions that happen in the first year postpartum.

Kim’s earliest travel memory is exploring Mexico from the way back of her family’s station wagon. Her father’s propensity for always taking the “scenic route” was formative, as she still enjoys a good road trip. Inspired by her own travel experiences, she founded Denison Travel to help others plan epic adventures. Kim's background in humanitarian aid and development lends a unique perspective to luxury travel, combining cultural immersion, sustainable tourism, and "ungoogleable” experiences.
Kim is a boy mom to Finley, 9, and Fletcher, 7, who are turning out to be really awesome people! She loves traveling, bingeing British crime dramas, gangsta rap, drinking really good champagne, subtly raging against the machine, and making the world a better place.
