My Top Purchases This Month - July
This month I went a bit crazy with my online shopping. Maybe it was the adrenaline rush of clicking “buy now” or maybe it was pure boredom and anxiety from being housebound for so long. Whatever the reason, here’s the list of all my random July purchases:
Maison Miru Necklace - I was totally influenced to buy this by Grace Atwood of The Stripe. She wore it on an Instagram story and I was instantly obsessed and can say it’s just as amazing in person and I’ve already been asked by multiple people where I bought it. I would definitely call that a win!
Gorjana Parker Necklace - Another necklace I first spotted on someones Instagram, this necklace is a great staple. I love the large-ish chain and the charms you can add to the clasp.
Walker Family Goods Louie Sling - I’m not sure how I found them, but I am so glad I did! I ordered myself a fanny pack and a matching one for my three year-old. It’s the perfect piece for walking around the neighborhood and now I have someplace to put the rocks/sticks/etc that get handed to me along the way.
Sanctuary Face Masks - could anyone have guessed face masks would become such a staple of 2020?! Well my quest for the perfect mask continues and these have been pretty great. They’re super lightweight, they don’t fall down when you talk and the prints are cute.
Megababe Rosy Pits Natural Deodorant - I’m always on the hunt for a great natural deodorant and even though I’ve been using one I like, I can’t say no to targeted ads. I bought this (and the thigh stick but I haven’t used it yet because I keep forgetting about it) and the deodorant and I’m a huge fan! I’m not going to tell you it’s an antiperspirant replacement, but it smells amazing and is a really great option for a natural deodorant.
Ugmonk Analog Productivity Set - I’ve been loving this company since their very first t-shirt line years ago and I was thrilled to see this new release. Jeff, the owner, launched a Kickstarter campaign for an analog productivity set. It’s so simple and looks like exactly what I’ve always been wanting. The design is beautiful and comes with a wooden holder for the cards which are broken down into “Today”, “Next” and “Someday”. I’m hoping this set will help me kick my productivity into high gear.
Stojo water bottle - Okay, I’m starting to realize I’m extremely susceptible to online ads. I’m either a sucker or I spend too much time online, or both?! Well I saw these cups floating around the internet and loved the colors. Now that we’re spending a lot of time in the desert I pretty much always have a water bottle on me but unlike my heavy Swell bottles, these silicon bottles collapse and then fit in a purse.
Nike Women’s Revolution 5 Running Shoe - After wearing the same pair of Nikes for more than two years I decided it was time to get a new pair. And I’m happy to say my sore knee went away within a few days so if you have any mysterious aches and pains, try some new sneakers!
Happy shopping!
