The Best Gifts for Book Lovers

The Best Gifts for Book Lovers

Where my fellow book lovers at?! If you’ve been following for very long, you know I love books and all things book-related. So what better gift guide for me to make than one I basically want for myself? So here are my tops picks for your book-loving friends, family or yourself.

Gifts for Book Lovers

Thank You For Reading Sweatshirt - This sweatshirt from Alabama bookstore Thank You Books is high on my wish list. These come in other colors and they also have cute t-shirts.

Books Are Magic Reusable Bag - Books Are Magic is another indie bookstore on my list of spots to visit in a post-covid travel world. Owned by author Emma Straub and her husband, they have a great website (and Instagram) full of book recs, interviews, merch and more. You can tell this store is owned by an author because they radiate a love of books and everything literary.

When In Doubt T-Shirt - I have this shirt and get so many compliments every time I wear it! They have tons of other designs, all of which are equally awesome.

Library Card Socks - How cute, right?

I’d Rather Be Reading Sweatshirt - Love this sweatshirt from Etsy!

Books Are Magic Patch - Another great piece of merch from Books Are Magic. Perfect for the discreet book lover that doesn’t necessarily want to wear their love on a t-shirt.

The Casper Glow Light - We have a set of these lights and they are pretty fantastic. You can program them with your phone and set them to dim after a certain period of time. They sit on a charger base and then you can move them around so they’re perfect for reading late into the night without bothering anyone else. You can also flip it over to turn it on if you need a light to carry around at night for midnight trips to the kitchen for more reading fuel.

Book of the Month Book Club - This is a no brainer! I just signed myself up and have already gifted it to several people.

Books Pins - I don’t know when I discovered Ideal Bookshelf, but I’m glad I did! I bought several of these book pins for family members to give as cute little gifts.

Book Print - Another pick from Ideal Bookshelf, they have dozens of different book prints for every type of book lover (cook books, murder mysteries, current popular picks, classic lit, etc). I bought the cookbook print for my Mom and she was thrilled.

The Book Lover’s Journal - I am terrible at remembering all the books I’ve read, or if I do remember them, I often can’t recall how much I liked them. Then when people ask me for books recs it can prove challenging. This is possibly the dorkiest of all the gifts on this list and possibly the one I’m most excited to purchase for myself.

Happy shopping (and reading)
