2019 Gift Guides - Best Gifts for Babies
In my humble opinion, babies are the best to shop for. It's the perfect balance of being able to get something useful and something that's aesthetically pleasing for the parents before their kids have an opinion. And because babies don't really need much or have any understanding of the holidays, you can get away with gifts that are either practical or really more for the parents. Here are some of my favorite items that almost make me want another baby just so I can buy them.
1. Miniware First Bites Travel Set - Such a chic baby gift. I left a travel set in my daughter's diaper bag when she was little and it was extremely useful!
2. Lovevery Subscription - This company is just plain old cool. I wish it existed when my daughter was little because I would have bought everything, but my friends are now the happy recipients of everything Lovevery. If you aren't familiar with their products, they have a baby play mat for purchase that is far cuter than any other on the market and they sell subscriptions (and stand alone boxes) for age-appropriate toys.
3. B. Toys Zany Zoo Activity Cube - My daughter used this every single day for about a year. When she was super little she would just stare at it and try to move the little pieces around and when she was older she used it to pull herself up and really engage with the different activities. Needless to say, this is a great gift that will last for a long time.
4 & 5 - Plan Toys x Pottery Barn Kids - These two toys (Key Rattle and Punch Drop) are super cute and an updated take on the basic primary colored versions that we've all seen before. We used the key toy for ages!
6. Bibito Bib - Hands down the best looking bib out there.
7. Plan Toys Dancing Alligator - Another hit in our house!
8. Crate & Kids Soft Blocks - I just ordered these for a friend with a new baby and I think he'll love them! They're large enough (and soft) that they can actually be used by really little babies.
9. Melissa & Doug Push Toy - Perfect for babies that are starting to pull themselves up and trying to walk.
10. Baby's First Soft Book - Something fun for the littles to look at (and chew on)!
11. Wee Gallery Sensory Ball - This sensory ball will entertain your little baby friends while growing their brains with tabs, rattle and high contrast patterns.
12. Rubbabu Soft Toys - I have recently fallen in love with this brand! They are extremely light, soft and the wheels work well so you can send them flying across the floor. They come in tons of different colors and shapes.
Happy shopping!
