New Beauty Products I’m Loving Right Now - May Edition
Here are a few reviews of my favorite beauty purchases this month. Have you guys tried out anything that you’ve loved? Let us know in the comments!
And just a heads up, none of these reviews are sponsored or contain affiliate links. We will always tell you if we have affiliate links!
1. Supergoop Zinc Sunblock - I am extremely picky about my sunblock. I prefer all-natural, zinc sunblock that doesn’t feel too thick or leave my face gloopy and white. I was pleasantly surprised by this zinc block from cult favorite brand Supergoop and will definitely be using it as my go-to face block moving forward. This sunblock comes out of the tube looking like it’s tinted but doesn’t look that way once it’s applied to the skin. I must mention it does have a very odd smell but that goes away immediately. If you’re looking for a mineral SPF option with more coverage check out my other love, the Ilia Super Serum which I reviewed last month. Make sure to order directly from the Supergoop website to get 10% off if you sign up for their newsletter.
2. Farmacy Vitamin C Serum and Honey Potion Mask - I purchased this little travel set during the Sephora sale because I was interested in checking out a new-to-me brand and a type of product (aka Vitamin C) that has become a staple of my daily process. And I’m happy to report, I am officially obsessed with this product and highly recommend! I had already purchased a full size bottle of my other favorite vitamin C product (Summer Fridays) but once I finish that bottle I will definitely repurchase the full size Farmacy.
Same goes for the Honey Potion Mask. I love that it heats up a little but after you apply and it leaves your skin feeling instantly hydrated. Pro tip: order these directly from the Farmacy website. They offer 15% off if you sign up for their newsletter and they’re having a 25% off $100 or more deal for Memorial Day.
3. Billie Lip Balm - I threw these two lip balms (Fig and Rhubarb) in my basket last minute as I was checking out online thinking the $9 price point was great and who doesn’t love more lip products? I was surprised that I actually really love them and have been wearing them almost every day. They have more pigment than I expected but they still feel light like a chapstick (and bonus points for being a green makeup product). The real reason I placed an order from Billie was for the razor set, which I do like as well, but the lip balms were really the unexpected stand-out products.
Happy shopping!!
