Colleen and her husband were planning on an unmedicated hospital birth, but were shocked when their son flipped into a breech position at 37 weeks gestation. While this resulted in an unplanned C-section, Colleen still had a very positive birth experience.
Shortly after giving birth she was diagnosed with postpartum preeclampsia which presented its own set of challenges. Impressively through it all she was still able to breastfeed until she had a drop in supply and needed to supplement with formula. Colleen also shares how she struggled with going back to work at 8 weeks postpartum and why she chose not to sleep train her son.
