Gather with us virtually for our Speak Up When You’re Down Story Hour - to share our stories and to take away the stigma and shame and associated with maternal mental health disorders
The Speak Up When You’re Down Story Hour will feature spoken word performances by a small group of women detailing the good, bad, ugly and even humorous pieces of their experiences with pregnancy, birth trauma, postpartum depression and anxiety, loss and psychosis – an effort to reduce stigma, which we believe is still one of the biggest barriers to finding care. During this time of stress and uncertainty, come listen to these stories of strength and resiliency.
We will be offering two separate event dates, May 15th at 7:00 pm (PST) and May 21st at 3:00 pm (PST). Each day will feature different women sharing their stories and experiences with perinatal mental health challenges, such as postpartum anxiety, depression and psychosis. Individual tickets are available for each day or attend both days at a discount.
