Tell us your story! We’d love to hear a little bit about yourself and what inspired you to design these dolls.
My name is Yaara Nusboim, and I am a fresh industrial designer. Several years ago, I worked at a boarding school for at-risk children. While working there I witnessed the tremendous pain and difficulties that these children were facing every day. I wanted to design special toys that are tailor-made for the treatment of this children and they were my inspiration.
Describe what motivates you in one sentence.
To add good to the world, change and improve by design.
What are your top three pieces of advice for aspiring designers?
1. Work, work and work! To do as many as possible mockups and designs and you will end up with a great design.
2. Set to yourself goals at the beginning of the project and once in a while stop and return to them and check if you reach them.
3. Always aspire forward, believe in yourself and never give up.
Where do you go for inspiration on the web and in real life?
To get inspiration I go to the nature and look for colors and shapes around me and if I need specific inspiration I look in lemanoosh.
What is the first website you visit every morning?
