You guys know how much we love books so we have a few new ones to share! After many
(many) weeks on the road we’ve added several new books to our shelves and here are a few of my favorites. Also a random idea for you guys - write down the location or date of when you buy your books. Since we always buy a book or two when we travel I love opening up books and seeing little notes like “Brilliant Books, Traverse City, July 2021”.
Ruby Has a Worry - This book tells the story of Ruby, a little girl who discovers something one day - a worry. And that worry grows and grows until she shares it with someone else. I love the message of sharing your feelings and think i’s a great read for kids with big feelings or going through transitions.
Brave as a Mouse - This is a sweet tale of the friendship between a little mouse and a goldfish. When three cats threaten the safety of the goldfish, the mouse comes up with a plan to free him from his fish bowl.
The Girl and the Dinosaur - We’ve read this book a million times already and still love it! This book is about Marianne, a little girl with a huge imagination. She spends her days digging for dinosaur bones and wishing her dinosaur would come to life, and one night it does!
