Savannah shares about her experience of becoming a high school aged, single mom after an unplanned pregnancy with an unsupportive partner. Her story starts with pre-term labor at 32 weeks (due to working 2 jobs & long hours on her feet) which required her to be on bed rest for the remaining 8 weeks of her pregnancy.
After coming home from the hospital, Savannah noticed that her daughter had a tongue tie and a dairy intolerance that made feeding very difficult. They also faced some sleep challenges and are still working through them now that Charlotte is 1-year-old. Amidst all of this, Savannah also had to work through her family’s negative feelings about her pregnancy & life path.
I left our conversation in complete awe of Savannah’s ability to rise to the occasion and become a wonderful mother & example for her daughter.
