“We decided to create Little Play Society after searching for indoor play spaces that were clean, inviting, and diverse, but also provided the environment and vibe that we, as parents totally wanted to hang in too! That place didn’t exist for us, so we decided to create it!
Family and community are very important to us. We chose Mid-City because of its richly diverse culture yet underrepresented landscape for children’s entertainment and family attractions. It is our hope that we are a place where families of all kinds can come, be themselves, have fun and build long-lasting memories!”
“On March 12, 2020 we were forced to closed our doors due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Though we are reopened on June 15, 2020, we're not out of the woods yet. What started as a promising year, is now clouded with uncertainty. We have a long road to financial recovery. Small businesses are the backbone of our society, and as many of you know, they have been walloped during this global crisis. We have been no exception to this. We are female-founded and black-owned. In that intersection, we're beating odds every day by remaining open, so although we're reopening, we're not exactly thriving - so we're asking for help.”
