A Quick & Easy Palm Springs Area Activity - Faye Sarkowsky Sculpture Garden
Next time you’re in the Palm Springs area with kids and you’re looking for a quick and easy activity to escape the heat, look no further than the Faye Sarkowsky Sculpture Garden . A few weeks ago, when temps were averaging 110 degrees but we were getting antsy from too much inside time, we decided to check out this teeny, tiny outdoor park. It ended up being the perfect little outing to get some of our little one’s wiggles out and quick enough to avoid a massive sweat sesh for the adults.
The sculpture garden is conveniently located right off of the 111 highway in front of the Palm Springs Art Museum in Palm Desert (not to be confused with the Palm Springs location). There are 14 sculptures, a waterless river path to run along and a giant water feature. The entire thing can be done in less than 15 minutes and when we were there we had the whole place to ourselves so my daughter was able to run in circles and jump around before we packed it up and drove down the street to grab a milkshake at Ben & Jerry’s.
Enjoy the desert!
