2020 Gift Guide - For In-Laws
Welcome to our second installment of the 2020 gift guide series! Today we’re talking all about in-laws, but really these gifts would be great for anyone in your life (well, except for babies and kids). And make sure to check back for even more gift guides soon.
Untamed - This book was one of the most popular of the year and a great option for any women in your life that haven’t read it yet.
Brightland Mini Essentials Gift Set - I’m a huge fan of this female owned olive oil company and have both gifted their products and purchased for myself. This brand new mini essentials kit, containing two oils and two vinegars, is a great way to test out all their products. Also the packaging is so beautiful your in-laws will happily leave these out on the shelves for all to see.
NPR Hoodie and NPR T-Shirt - I think it’s safe to say that most people’s in-laws (and parents and most likely themselves) listen to NPR. It has a great merch site which supports all the amazing work it does.
Lavender Sugar Cubes - Isn’t the whole point of holiday gifting to buy items for people that they wouldn’t necessarily buy for themselves? Fancy shower accoutrements definitely fall into this category for me and who wouldn’t love a little spa-like luxury added to their shower routine.
Soda Stream Machine - I bought this for my father-in-law a few years ago and will probably never be able to top this purchase. It’s seriously the best gift ever for anyone who drinks sparkly water. And if you feel like being super fancy, check out this option which is more than twice the cost but oh so chic.
The Poacher’s Son and Trespasser - I’m a huge fan of this lesser-known thriller series about a game warden in Maine. I’ve read all all 11 of them and since then my FIL and Mom have as well. Make it especially fun and buy them the first several books in the series for ultimate book binging.
Echo Show - Since we’re all spending a lot more time video chatting these days, let’s make it easier for all of us by using these larger stationary screens for our chats. Most people already have Alexa systems and this way your toddler won’t run away with the phone so their grandparents “can cuddle with them in bed.”
Jiggy Puzzles - You really can’t go wrong with these beautiful puzzles and since life won’t be back to normal for a while and we’re all spending more time at home, this is a very safe bet!
Yeti Travel Mug - Another safe bet, a Yeti mug! Since receiving a Yeti cooler (another amaaaazing gift idea if you’re looking to spend a bit more money), I am a total convert. They really are the best and this mug comes in tons of different colors.
Haden Pebble Grey Drip Dorchester Coffee Maker- How beautiful is this coffee maker?? I actually have my eye on it too.
TRUFF White Truffle Hot Sauce - This hot sauce has over 2k reviews on Amazon which is a serious badge of honor. I bought this as a gift for my brother-in-law last year and he was a huge fan.
Misto Box Coffee Subscription - I’m such a fan of this company! I’ve given this to my husband and dad as gifts and then we extended the subscription because we enjoyed it so much. If you’re feeling extra generous, pair this with the Yeti mug or coffee maker for a whole morning routine gift set.
Jeni’s Ice Cream Delivery - Food delivery is always a crowd pleaser and especially good for those that are hard to gift for. And who doesn’t like ice cream, right?!
Shearling Birkenstock Sandals - Here’s another gift I’d love to receive myself (and I’m planning on buying for my Mom!). Step up your house shoe/errand shoe game with these winter sandals (is that a thing? Or did I just make it up?)
Happy shopping!
- Callie
