Fall Activities in Oak Glen, CA

This weekend we were craving some fall activities so we made our way over to Oak Glen, an easy 1.5 hour drive from LA towards Palm Springs.

Oak Glen has dozens of orchards and small businesses where you can experience the California version of fall fun. We started the day at Snow-Line Orchard where we had delicious mini apple donuts straight out of the fryer and the cutest little fields full of picnic tables and perfect for kids to run around. Next up we went down the road to Los Rios where we spent 45 minutes exploring their amazing corn maze, took a tractor ride and of course picked apples. Our last stop was the Wilshire Shed for delicious wood fire pizzas and the worlds largest and most decadent apple pie.

We had a great day in Oak Glen and highly recommend it if you’re looking for a fun day trip from LA. We’ve been a few other times and explored other orchards and the nature preserve (you can read about the nature preserve here and Stone Soup Farm here) so really there is something for everyone.
